Initiative KURS – Ratification of the agreement

“Demographic change affects everyone, for companies it is even more important to socialize with junior employee as early as possible.” said Heinz Gehlen, managing director of the Aachen Chamber of Commerce. Exactly what we realized accurately timed. That’s why we agreed to cooperate with the junior high school Geilenkirchen. Nowadays commonly it is applied, that education is not complete without general qualification for university entrance and a following academic studies. Yet a good General Certificate of Secondary Education affords the background for a future-oriented apprenticeship. We offer the pupils of the junior high school Geilenkirchen, internal placements and assistance in founding a student’s company. During plant visits of technology courses and Social Sciences courses, we were able to make initial contacts. We would like to give the pupils an understanding of the jobs that require training e.g. cutting machine operator and industrial clerk. In spring 2015, first industrial placements start in our Company.
